Brown Hare evening

Location: North Norfolk
Date: 15/07/2009

A session in the evening and directly after work turned out to be just right.

Lots of Hares about at present many of them youngsters. Somewhat green around the ears they can be photographed more easily from time to time. This evening being no exception.

Garden Painted Lady.

Location: My Garden. North Norfolk
Date: 25/05/2009

Spent the day gardening and was a little surprized to find not one but four Painted Ladies on a Cotoneaster bush.

Grabbed my camera and macro lens and spent a pleasant 30 minutes trying to capture these beauties. A welcome break from gardening.

Garden Friend.

Location: North Norfolk
Date: 02/05/2009

This little chap has now been present for sometime now and seems to be all on his own.
He will now allow me to approach within fifteen feet and talk. Normally the slightest noise and there off. Just a delight to sit and watch.

Wheatear.

Location: Little Snoring, North Norfolk.
Date: 11/04/2009

After a period of over two weeks I thought this lovely bird was long gone from Little Snoring Airfield. Today I found it still present frequenting a pile of old rubble in one corner of a section of now disused runway. On my approach it flew off into an adjacent field but after a period of about thirty minutes it returned and surveyed the area from its stoney vantage point. From time to to time it would fly to the ground and forage about amongst the mosses and weeds adorning the runway edges.
